 Jeff Ritchie made the course an absolute nightmare and has no empathy whatsoever. One of my loved ones caught COVID-19 and I needed some flexibility due to the circumstances. However, he didn't even care and was incredibly rude when I tried to discuss the matter with him. The fact that he has no problem acting like this is very disturbing.

 Jeff Ritchie fails to respond to emails in a timely fashion. I had emailed him days ago and had to contact an administrator just to get an answer. And when I did get one, he was incredibly rude and unhelpful. This is NOT an appropriate way for professors to talk to their students and it is definitely not okay to ignore their emails either.

 This professor assigns a ridiculous amount of work with very little time to complete it and has poor communication skills with students. On one assignment, we had less than 24 hours to complete it. Almost every student in the class complained. He also fails to acknowledge that students with disabilities need accommodations and does everything in his power to avoid giving them to said students. The way Jeff Ritchie treats disabled students is absolutely shameful.
