Clearly a very knowledgable person, but not a good teacher. Highly unorganized and assigns more than she can grade. Doesn't use the assigned text but requires it. Uses seemingly random and sometimes confusing outside sources to teach material instead. Tests are HARD and the questions are rather obtuse applications of the material. Assignments are tedious and she doesn't offer much feedback if at all, so it's difficult to gauge your progress or improve. Does offer loads of extra credit, but it's also tedious busywork. She seems to be aware of the criticism about her but dismisses it, which is just frustrating on a whole other level. I'd recommend not taking any other courses if you have a class with her if you want a decent grade.
