 Hans use to laugh about a review he once had where a student wrote that you had to know too much to take his class. Knowledge is power. He had a generous and collaborative spirt and was always willing to hear an argument before he made judgment. He was person that elevated everyone around him. He had high standards for himself and expected the same for and from his students. Always the professor, when it came time for the summer to end he would start professing at the dinner table. I was privilege enough to have him as my private professor for 7 years. Truely best seven years of my life.
