 Ms. Whittinghill was probably the best instructor I have ever had the pleasure of learning from in college. I began her class with severe anxiety about writing essays. I had not written a paper for over fifteen years at that point. She not only taught me how to write well, she gave me a skillset that I apply regularly, and gave me the confidence to go as far as I could in academia. I finished her class as a tutor in the Writing Lab at Mira Costa. Thanks to the foundations she provided, I aced English 205, and never scored below a 90 on any paper for any class I took after. She is a true educator, and I am eternally grateful for her instruction.
