It's almost impossible to not get an A. Do exactly what she tells you to do: read the chapter, fill out the lecture guide, do the homework, and use the extra study materials she posts on D2L. She gives students everything they need to make an A. There's so much extra credit available, there's no excuse for not passing with an acceptable grade. You just have to work for it. I already miss her!

Dr. Foster is cracked out to be "impossible". Everyone says she teaches at a graduate level, but keep in mind these are 18 year olds assuming they know what a graduate level is. She is not that hard, if you study it's relatively easy. The maturity level of the class is low, which explains the low average grade. She is very helpful.

Pros: She is nice and is willing to work with you.
Cons: Her advice doesn't really help. It is a ton of work and is extremely challenging to get a good grade.
I was told if I put in the effort I would get a good grade, and I made a 14 page study guide for the third exam and still did not get the grade I would have liked. It's tough. It's definitely a weed out course.

This class is difficult, but any bio class for majors will be. You have to work for the grade you want. From day one you need to study and keep up with the readings.
