Marketing Intern

The marketing intern will provide essential support to the Sales and Marketing Department by streamlining all marketing efforts and spearheading new campaigns that align with the fresh produce industry. Additional duties will include the management of special projects such as the launch of our online store.

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field at an accredited US College or University.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding and campaign management through coursework or prior experience.
- Excellent communication & organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects & meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with design or analytics tools such as Canva, Marq, Adobe Creative Suite, Mail Chimp, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or other creative / SEO platforms.
- Experience with CRM or VRM software a plus!

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with executives to develop tactics for streamlining online store set-up process.
- Collect internal product information on a weekly basis that can be utilized in marketing campaigns.
- Assist with documentation for store set-up and marketing strategy.
- Regularly update and maintain onsite digital marketing slides for produce market sales.
- Perform market research on trends in e-commerce and digital marketing as related to the fresh produce industry.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with customers and build relationships.
- Manage email marketing campaigns to promote products, offer discounts, and build customer loyalty.
- Utilize social media to build brand awareness and engage with customers.
- Assist Director of Sales on outreach campaigns, and brand / label refresh.
