Future in Tech (FiT), a division of Vendor Direct Solutions LLC (VDS), is an information governance software company redefining document lifecycles through seamless innovation.

We are currently seeking a motivated and analytical Business Development Intern, with a focus on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about digital marketing and SEO to gain hands-on experience in driving organic traffic and improving search engine rankings. As a Business Development Intern, you will be responsible for executing strategic SEO initiatives, conducting keyword research, optimizing on-page content, creating quality content, building backlinks, and analyzing website performance metrics.

The Business Development Intern will report directly to the President of VDS. This is a full-time hybrid position and will require the Business Development Intern to be in the office 3 times per week.

$20-$25 per hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Keyword Research and Optimization
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant search terms and phrases with high search volume and low competition.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and page titles using targeted keywords to improve search engine visibility and ranking positions.

On-Page Optimization
-Implement on-page optimization techniques, including optimizing HTML tags, improving website loading speed, and enhancing mobile responsiveness for better user experience and search engine crawling.

Quality Content Creation
- Collaborate with content creators and subject matter experts to develop high-quality, SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, articles, infographics, and landing pages.
- Ensure content aligns with SEO best practices, addresses user intent, and provides value to our target audience.

Link Building
- Execute link building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites and industry-relevant sources.
- Identify link building opportunities through competitor analysis, content outreach, and relationship building with influencers and bloggers.

Monitoring and Analytics
- Monitor website traffic, keyword rankings, and search engine performance using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Analyze SEO metrics and performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization, and provide actionable recommendations to improve SEO strategies.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, with a focus on marketing, business, communications, or related field.
- Strong interest in digital marketing, specifically in the areas of search engine optimization (SEO) and content marketing.
- Familiarity with SEO tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content optimized for search engines.
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Previous experience or coursework in SEO, digital marketing, content creation, or related fields is preferred but not required.
