Personal Statement

My name is Siena and I am a second-year electrical and computer engineering student at University of Rochester. I have two years of experience teaching elementary through high schoolers in independent lessons and as an instructor at Mathnasium. I have also received training on how to present math topics to students at different levels and learning styles. I have a strong background in math and physics, including 5s on AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Physics 1, and AP Physics C mechanics, as well as As in Multidimensional Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Physics Electricity & Magnetism at university. Teaching is my passion, and I love getting to know my students' learning styles and discovering the best teaching method for each individual student.
