Healthcare United is actively recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join a dynamic Hospitalist team at our 240-bed, not-for-profit acute care facility just a short 30-minute drive from Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. This vibrant college town offers short commutes, NCAA Division I athletics, a thriving arts scene, excellent schools, and abundant outdoor recreation, including hiking and biking trails.

This is a hospital-employed opportunity with a physician-led, professionally managed, multi-specialty group. Join a cohesive, collaborative team of 11.5 physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) providing high-quality inpatient care in a supportive and collegial environment.

Our hospitalist practice community-based, patient-focused medicine and enjoy a modern facility currently using Meditech Expanse, with a system-wide transition to Epic on the horizon. Teaching opportunities are available through the Penn State College of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program for those interested in academic involvement.

Position Highlights

• Inpatient-only practice
  

• 7-on/7-off schedule, 12-hour shifts
  

• 7 paid PTO days per calendar year

• EMR: Meditech Expanse (transitioning to Epic)
  

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  

• Eligible for medical licensures in Pennsylvania
