Personal Statement

My name is Syed S. I am from Burtonsville MD. I went to Montgomery College for my associate degree and then I went to University of Maryland Baltimore County for my undergraduate degree in Biology. Currently, I am a 3rd-year medical student at AUA College of Medicine. I am also pursuing my Master's degree on the side. I served in the United States Army for 3 years and am really proud of it. I am also a personal trainer and was a previous lifeguard. My teaching experience is extensive as I have been teaching medical students from year 1 and 2 for the past 2 years. During my undergraduate at UMBC, I was a tutor for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry along with the teaching assistant with my professor. I am also a mentor for pre-med. I can provide services including test-taking strategies, SAT prep, nursing school, and college courses. I have taken Kaplan courses, Amboss, U-world, USMLE-Rx, and NBME's. I am also a CLS and BLS certified.
