Personal Statement

Yeny Ferreras, a Dominican-born artist, embarked on her artistic journey from childhood, initially expressing her creativity through fashion design for dolls. Upon migrating to the United States, she explored graphic design and photography, culminating in her earning an Associate's degree in Digital Arts and Science from Bronx Community College in 2017 and a Bachelor's in Arts from The City College of New York in 2018. Yeny's passion for education led her to become an adjunct lecturer at Bronx Community College, where she imparts her expertise in digital photography. Balancing her commitment to teaching with freelance work, Yeny continues to evolve as both a skilled designer and accomplished professional photographer.
