Nick is kinda awesome! This was an accelerated 5 week course, and although it was very writing intensive, he was very flexible. if you do the assignments, it is an easy A! He will allow you to email him assignments that are late, but requests you make deadlines! I hate going to school in the summer and most teachers dont understand that, but Nick was very cool!

He is a good teacher. Hard to understand at times. Reads mostly from the slides. He is a nice guy, so that ending with a good grade is the course is not hard. But he certainly keeps you till the end and early for him is letting you go at 20 to the hour.

I took this course for an easy A, and it was. Although his grading is somewhat unfair (everyone seems to get a B on essays), you have tons of chances for extra credit, making it difficult not to get an A.
The class i took with him, mass media, was interesting. He tried to make the class fun - we watched some good videos (as well as some boring ones). Overall, this is a good class to take as an elective.

He was very funny and made class a lot of fun. He actually made me enjoy com 270. The workload is heavy but I think it is expected from a communications class. Some assignments were actually interesting. He does keep you there the whole time ( I had a 3 hr night class) which can be annoying. He does care about his students, give a lot of extra credit towards end of term, and will push back deadlines. There is no midterm or final. I would retake him.

Nike is a great teacher. His workload is very heavy, so if you're taking any of his accelrated courses, be preapred for a LOT of work. I think those of you who gave him negative feedback were not willing to put forth the effort into learning what he had to say. The class I was in was the largest of his publc speaking classes, and because of goodwin's foul-up with dates we actually were behind a week.
I admit I probably did not get the best grade, and this is because of outside circumstances (with my fulltime job). I did not have enough time to complete everything needed (readings, etc). Had I been able to complete everything, I'm confident that I could've gotten an A.
To sum it up: He's a great teacher, he's realistic, and he is an effective professor. Don't be scared to take his class. It's a lot of work, but it will teach you a lot. If you're lazy, then go for someone else.

A Greek Rick Moranis who walks funny and dresses sloppy. He probably follows the recommended curriculum for the course extensively - had he revised it a little, the class would have seemed less like 5th grade English. I was ready to shoot myself every week - what we were learning was ridiculous for the college level. Kept us for almost the whole class, every time. Gave out a lot of B's just so you'd have to do all of the assignments and extra credit (which there was a lot of by the end of the term). I just could not see myself taking this guy again, let alone COM 270 - most ridiculous requirement ever for the new business curriculum. Funniest part of the class had to be his Greek accent and the awkward silences when no one responded to his questions. The class won't stress you out, but it's not worth the money.

Tries to make the class fun. Watched two movies during a ten week term, leaving only eight weeks of actually doing work. Cares about the students and tries to help in any way possible. Numerous times extended the deadline on the submission of items. However, is not entirely clear on instructions for the assignments.

I dont know what everyone's gripes are. He was excellent. Ya his tests were a little challenging and his projects a little tough. BUt honestly, if you do the work and dont slack you easily can get an A. He offers a bunch of extra credit and lets you rewrite your papers. Show up to class, do your work and do the extra credit...easy A

Good teacher who knows how too keep the classes intersting. This is difficult if you consider the material. You will have to do a shit load of work both in and out of the class, but its not too difficult. If you really put forth a good work effort and make it to class you will be rewarded with the 'A'. The book is not totally necessary to buy, but it would definately help you with certain assignments.

Hes a good teacher and presents all the information you need well. THe night class was 3 hours and we usually stayed the entire time but it wasn't bad at all. He makes the class interesting and you do a lot of activities and watch movies. Its definitely not bad and you will get a good grade if you do your work and go to class

Professor Linardopoulos is a great teacher! I took him for a night class and it was well worth the time. He cares about his students and if you put forth the effort in coming to class and participating you should have no problems gettin an A

I thought Nick was an excellent teacher. The subject matter was extremely boring but he did well balancing the time between movies, activities, and lecture. I got a B and a C on the two tests and ended up with an A in the class because of my paper and presentation (which if you do the work, it is not difficult to get a good grade)

Overall this class was slightly too much work. He does try to make it interesting and at least doesn't just lecture but tries to incorporate inclass assignments and movies. He does give opportunities to improve your grade by offering some extra credit and a rewrite option. A's are not impossible.

Attendance required! Has a good amount of projects or assigments to be done. Very picky grader on the smallest little things! Can get an A but must work hard on projects.

Anyone who says that Nick is a bad teacher is on crack. He is a great teacher. Grades fairly, teaches clearly and makes sure that you are taken care of when final grades go in. That is if you showed some interest and participated in the class. Those who complain about the workload should take night classes at CCP.

I think Nick is a very good teacher. He was very organized and let you know what was expected from you up-front. He makes the class enjoyable which is not always easy for a communications class, especially at night. He does make you work, which some students do not like, but I think he was fair and always approachable. Nicke was willing to work with the students if they were not doing well. He took into account if you made an effort in the class when it came down to the final grade. I would take a class with him as the instructor again.

I think Nick is an excellent teacher - he holds his students to high standards but he makes it clear about how you can do well in his class. Nick kept a sense of humor in class and I appreciate his constructive comments. Every criticism he gave me was accurate - and this helped me become a better writer.

Nick is a wonderful teacher who trully cares about his students. Workload is medium to light, all you have to do to get an A is show some interest in the material, participate a little, hand in your work (of course not plagerized, it is Communications after all!), and just attend class (he usually lets you leave early anyway). And for those that will have a hard time doing that, well maybe you should try a community college!

Nikolaos Linardopoulos is one of the worst teachers I have ever taken in my academic career from the start of elementary school to this day. I had taken him 3 semesters ago and this is what he did when you turn in a paper he assumes that it is plagrazied he did this to almost 85% of the class. anyway if you cant get out of his class do so otherwise you will suffer like I did make sure you go to class. Beware students this is a teaher you dont want to run into I had to drop com270 so I can take it with some1 else!
