Personal Statement

In 36 years I have tutored over 700 students for at least a semester and a thousand more for shorter periods. I love helping another mind wrap itself around an idea. My favorite sound is the sound someone makes when they ""get it."" My Ph.D. is in physics, and I've tutored math and physics at all ages from middle schoolers to grad students.
