I suspect I've come to an understanding of mathematics unlike just about anyone you might have met. I could discuss it endlessly, and in as much depth as any audience would allow. The benefit of this to any math student would be that they will find my patience profuse, my eagerness to clarify its techniques tireless, my ingenuity unparalleled in creating the most illuminating metaphors for its intentions and its practices to those ends.
