 Ronald Young is an amazing professor and highly recommend taking his classes. I had him for BUS 101 and Marketing, and he was excellent in teaching both. The tests are all taken from the notes, but showing up is required otherwise you won't pass. He's interesting, and his lectures never get boring.

 I took his class 5 years ago, and I'm still learning things from the lectures I remember. This man is so very knowledgeable about business, and this is shown through his engaging (and hilarious!) anecdotes. He taught me how to be a leader, how to shave, how to succeed in school, and how to make it in the "real world." Don't miss out.

 Ron is really knowledgeable about all things business. I took him for BUS 101 and 105 and both were great. He has the class structured really nicely and always prepares you for tests with an in-depth review. There's a group project that wasn't my favorite, but in business, you have to learn how to work with others. Don't take this class with anyone else!

 Ron Young is one of my favorite teachers of all time! He was always very lively and funny. He also has stories to go along with each topic he teaches us, which make it very memorable! Easy class. Learned a lot.

 Much of the marketing class will be a review from 101. He tells the best stories from his experiences that apply to the material. There is a group project which lasts all semester, but his grading is incredibly fair (coming from someone who did the majority of the work) and you rate your group members at the end of the project. Great professor!

 He's a great teacher. He loves to tell stories which illustrate business concepts. Just make sure to take good notes, start the stock project early, and prepare well for the tests. He has very strong political views, but as long as you can live with that, then I would highly recommend him.

 Mr. Young is an amazing teacher. He is very qualified and experienced in the business area and always relates class material to the real world. He is also very blunt and tells things as they are, which is a quality rarely found in college professors. Tests are easy and are all based on class lectures, so make sure to attend.

 Ron is probably the most qualified business professor I've had so far. He has been in many different aspects of business, so he has great knowledge of what he's teaching. There is minimal homework, but there's a stock market project that is pretty easy if you don't wait until the last minute. I'll be taking another one of his classes next term.

 Another one of the best Professors in Kalamazoo. Blows the "ego" professors of WMU out-of-the-water. Attend class and take notes (which is a far better way to learn that watching a power-point lecture) and you'll do fine. His lectures are a nice balance of material and personal stories. His experience is unmatched and hes a great guy to talk too.

 Professor Young is one of the best professors I've had at KVCC so far. He's really kind and he's super helpful. The class is an easy A as long as you follow his lectures. Showing up to class isn't mandatory but if you don't show up you probably won't do well since he doesn't do much out of the book. His stories are hilarious too!

 Ron Young was my first Business professor and one of the few professors that stood out to me through my four years of Undergrad. I'm a senior in college and took Ron Young as a Freshman before transferring to a University. His real life business examples and sense of humor are a perfect mix. If your not taking any of his courses your missing out.

 Prof. Young is fantastic! Don't bother taking anyone else for Bus101. He tells great stories with his lectures and makes his material easy to apply. If you come to class, pay attention, and take some notes, you should have absolutely no problem passing. Don't wait to do your Stock Market Project though. It's easy to do work on with ample time.

 Ron Young is a unique professor. He is a retired business owner and has owned multiple very successful businesses that he shares examples about very often. He is a wealthy man that loves to talk about business and his experiences. Attendance is not mandatory but you do take notes everyday. Exams are easy and study guides are given. Take him.

 Not enough can be said about this guy. He's truly one of the best teachers around. He knows how the majority of people learn and he really helps. He'll tell you funny and very educational stories. I learned so much of what to do and what not to do just by listening to his stories and examples. GREAT teacher!

 Fantastic! Very interesting guy, very wealthy, successful guy. Changing my major to nursing, originally in Business. It's a great class. Learn a ton. Super easy. Test are easy. normally lets you out 20 minutes early. Has a great sense of humor and taste in music. Classes are big, Start marketing project ASAP and send in for suggestions! HELPFUL.

 Has been in Business most of his life and knows what he's talking about. His lessons are well-planned. Writes down on the board what will be on the test, so take notes and you'll pass the tests easily. Fills the lectures with stories from his life that relate to each point he makes. Always interesting and funny stories.
