 Professor Quinn was by far the most influential teacher in my undergraduate studies in Psychology at UCSC.

 Pros: Go to most of his classes-- his lectures are amazing and interesting, and besides, if you're tired that day, naps are totally fine. He infuses stories with the material that he wants to teach, so be sure to take notes on the facts, not the stories. Study them for the midterm. Expect a 16 page essay as a final project.
Cons: If a student doesn't do well on the midterm, be prepared to write an excellent essay. Please don't procrastinate this final project as it could make or break your grade.
Having taken regular psychology, the topics discussed in this class were very familiar. It resembles an introductory psychology class with emphasis on the birth and meaning for world religions. Also, I didn't purchase or read any of the materials Quinn had assigned and earned an A, so if it's too much to read, don't bother.
