If you work consistently and meet deadlines you can easily make a good grade in her class. She teaches from a real life and cultural perspective that involves creativity and current events. I so much like how she illustrated probability through the Mancala game tying it into research on COVID-19

Her class helped me to connect math concepts in Mat 161.5 to real life. I liked the fact that we could revise work multiple times for a better grade. I am happy I took this class with her

She cares about student passing as she allows students to revise work for a better grade based on feedback and peer review. She also drops worst scores at the end of the semester and gives extra credit. If you do your work there is no reason why you cannot get a B grade or better in her class

Loved her class as it provided insight to mathematics concepts learned from a culturally inclusive perspective. Would definitely take her class again if I had to take another math class.

If you want to pass statistic, please don't enroll with this professor. She doesn't teach, she just gives out paper after paper in each class. She loves to write announcement and homework on the board but when you don't understand something and you rise your hand to ask her, she tells you "read the board". That is so annoying if you don't understand something that's why she in the class, but she has a attitude. I was so excited for statistic but her class just made me hate it. This semester I can honesty say that I didn't learn one thing in her class, and when I tell people that, they quote " that's ridiculous". If you feel like making a African doll and a African games is helpful in life, go ahead and take her class. I never did this to a teacher before but this situation was ridiculous. She's a college professor for Christ sake, I should've learn real statistic not her version of what it was. Everyone In the class was the same way, half the class drop the class. I'M just warning you guys, because I'll have to take it over because I didn't learn nothing.
