 Love this professor! I learned the most from her neurobiology class than I have in my entire Master's curriculum. Wish more professors were like her. I want to be like her when I grow up.

 Inspirational, extremely intelligent professor! Would expect this caliber of professor at Ivy League schools. I feel so lucky to have had her at Barry! I hope she never leaves!

 She is unlike any professor I've had in undergrad or grad school. She's ridiculously smart and truly cares for the learning of each student. She designed and wrote paradigm shifting doctoral classes that I feel puts me apart from any other clinician. I've never met another social worker like her and don't think I ever will. So lucky to have had this gem of a professor!

 Dr. Williams is a true Rock Star! I am SO GRATEFUL to have had the honor to have her as a professor!! She is extremely intelligent and has a way of describing and teaching challenging material in a way that helps students truly understand it. She developed and wrote the neuro class and it’s clear she has passion and knowledge here. This class is very different than other courses in this MSW program in that it truly is graduate school level and she holds students accountable for their own work. I am shocked at the number of graduate students that don’t read or even buy books in this program! You can’t do that in her course as it’s not intuitive and she actually teaches and pushes students to grow intellectually, emotionally, and professionally. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for other courses in the MSW program as I’ve found that the curriculum lacks the rigor and accountability required for graduate school. Dr. W has all of this. Students who do not want to read or decide to take short cuts or plagiarize will not be successful in this class. This is the first time that I felt that I was actually in a graduate program and grateful that I had a professor that was more concerned about producing quality social workers rather than their own personal evaluations. Take this course and take her- you’ll be a better person and social worker as a result of it!

 Best prof at Barry! Intelligent, clear, and extremely helpful. She goes out of her way to help all students, but you do have to approach her if you need help. She is a rare professor- knowledgeable, interactive teaching style that is not boring and keeps us interested for the 3 hour classes, and actually still practices. I love her stories and how they connect to our content! She also doesn't just teach what's in the book or the old and dry stuff. It's clear she does research and is current as she every week brings in new studies in regards to what we are learning that week. Love her!
