Great professor! He knows his stuff, seeks to engage the students in a creative and interesting way, and he always comes into class with his positive and quirky spirit. You can tell hes very passionaye about his job and wants you to learn the material as best you can. His material can be challenging if you dont go to class and his lectures are necessary to understand the material. I recommend taking him, best econ professor at Ohio State if you ask me

One of my favorite professors at Ohio State. I've taken 4 of his classes and all but his highest level classes are open note. If you show up and listen you should not get less than a B in his classes. Also fun and engaging as well as eager to help and answer questions both during and after class.

His exams are impossible even with open notes. He rounds down with final grades which is very rare for a teacher that is worried about the students future. He somehow grades 200 papers within a 2-3 day period last semester which left me very skeptical. He seems to be sensless in terms of helping his students succeed. Enjoys making his class one of the hardest classes at Ohio State. I would never recommend him as a teacher but I'm sure he is a nice guy and means well.
