 Took his class during my senior year and I wish I had taken more of his classes earlier. Well organize in his class, love getting feedback from students. Willing to work with them as long as you let him know your issue early. He truly cares about his job as a professor and students. Each assignments are two weeks long and the amount of work is very reasonable. Must take at EB.

 Took several of his recreation therapy and recreation classes and I must say he is one of best professor I have had. Very well organized in his online classes and if you ever need help, just email his and he will work with you and help you. Dedicated to his job. Just put you effort in the classes and you'll do great. Highly recommended.

 Pros: Prof. Kong really try to make sure his students learn what they suppose to. He'll do his best to help as long as you put forth the effort. Quick to answer emails and any questions you may have. Grades are updated every few weeks, not bad considering he has over 100+ students to grade.

 Pros: Kongs class is very easy and he makes it easy to learn the material. I like the way he sets up his classes and he always provides feedback when asked.
Cons: He seems to be a bit judgemental. He also can get sloppy and maybe it's lazy when it comes to his grading. He doesn't read entire posts, he read a sentence or two the grades based off of that.
I think he is an easy instructor to have as long as you do you do not get on his bad side. He seems to be judgemental, as a lot of the posts have to do you with you as a person and your interests, personality, opinions, etc.

 This professor is soooo great. he cares about his students. Strongly recommend. Take him you will have a lot of fun and a good grade.

 I've taken a few of his recreation therapy courses online and I must say that he is a great instructor. He is very organize and helpful especially in a online environment. If you do the work, there is no reason why you won't get an "A". I've learned so much from all of his courses. Very dedicated to his students, great courses!

 In a word Da Bomb. This guy is like MacGyvur. He knows everything about the outdoors and even gave me tips on how to survive in the outdoors with nothing but dental floss. Great enthusiasm! Hes also a great climber and helped me get through a difficult climb by showing me the swan move. Take this class!

 I've never taken Mr. Kong's recreation classes; because of that I can only give him a B. When I was a recreation major at CSUH/CSUEB; Eric Kong was a student there getting his Master's Degree in recreational therapy. This was what year? 2003? 2004?

 This is by far the most fun I had in a class at CSUEB. We did things that I've never done before, like climbing, rowing, boating, etc. Best of all, it only meets on 5 Sundays and I get 4 units for taking it. The instructor Erick is super nice and we all had fun doing the activities, this is a must take class! Did I mention it a easy "A"!

 REC 4705 was soooo much fun! I can't believe that I almost graduated without knowing about this class. Professor Erick Kong is a great instructor who really enjoys teaching and wants to give the students an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. We did bunch of fun activities such as rock climbing, sailing, orienteering, team building activities, and kayaking. Oh, did I mentioned that this class fulfills area E/F of GE requirements?! This is a class you don't want to miss, a must take!!!!
