I hated the class, but i loved the professor. Cheryl is a really good teacher, and she is very. She really wants you to succeed, and it really shows. She can get annoyed if you are disruptive, so please don't be disruptive. She is a really nice teacher, and I learned a lot from the class even though I hated it! Yes, take her class please!!!!! |

My review is based on her online course. She does not respond to emails in a timely manner. Her instructions on assignments are sometimes very vague and unclear. Due to these two reasons, in addition to her not setting up the discussion board, most students in class just sent mass emails to each other in order to receive help. Overall, the course is fairly easy if you're computer savvy but I do not recommend this instructor at least not for her online course. |

100L is a lab and there is suppose to have no lecture but prof. Martucci lectures on the excel to give us a better understanding and eliminate the useless stuff from the book. She had a lot of experiences in this field and it showed. She will help anybody who has their hand up. She walks to your computer and helps you to get the right answer on your own so you remember it. She might get a little irritate if you ask the question that she already firmly mention but she still would give you an answer. She likes to joke, sometime remarks about people who she has dealt with. Nonetheless, she lectures too much about business and real word practice making the class fall behind. The helping every student also contribute to the slow class. She doesn't have accurate due dates on all assignment and what needs to be done. Grading is lagging way behind mostly due to her huge teaching schedule. I suggest you do everything on the assignment because you'll need it on the final exam which is only test you will do in this class. |

She is the all time worse online professor that I have ever had. I've taken about a dozen on line courses at DVC and have always had very responsive teachers.... Cheryl may have good intentions but through our entire semester she has been apologizing for having 9 courses, teaching on line for the first time, have a hectic personal life and basically IGNORING us.... our discussions are us teaching each other. In my opinion she should not be allowed to teach on line. I'm sure she has all the knowledge in the world on the subject but if she's not going to share it with us and put the effort in to answer our questions in a timely manner than we can't learn the material. We still have assignments from January that she has not graded and it's now nearly May... not timely, not responsive and is not a good online teacher...especially for teaching of all subjects.... Computer Science. |

She is one of the nicest teachers I have taken from. She has a very leave you on your own kind of attitude towards teaching, but she definitely knows her stuff. My advice to anyone taking her classes would be to make sure that you take advantage of her knowledge when you run into a problem. I ended up learning a lot about Microsoft Office - something that I was well past. Also, get to know her if possible because she always knows how to brighten a day that is otherwise dead boring. |
