If you want to know who someone really is, give them power and stand back. This "professor" taught me Visual Basic 5 programming and gave me a C+ in the course. He made the final so difficult that the majority failed. He gave us the scheduled test hour to attempt to debug the application he created and now I know that isn't how the real-world works. Anyhow, years later I get certified as MCSD/MCSA using VB6 and scored top 5 in my class's test results. I reached out to him a while later to pick his brain on a specific technology, I believe it was COM/DCOM, and he hadn't a clue about it. Well, with the C+ I turned out to be the company's software manager for 7 years until VB.Net rolled out. Is VB supposed to be difficult? NO. In addition, "CHUCKY" college is about handing down information to the next generation. In the end, you know what they say. ...those who can't teach and nowadays recruit.

Pros: Very easy to reach and communicate with. He understands the material is hard, so he works as hard as he can to provide you with tools, tips, extra credit, curves, exam re-do's, etc...
Cons: None, really. He's a little goofy, and sends LOTS of email.
He's awesome, overall. Tough class, but he makes it a little more bearable.

Good teacher and a really nice guy (if you put forth the effort and go to class).
