 A true scholar. Dr. Heatwole keeps the bar high, brings life to his classes and most importantly inspires students to engage in more than the basics for course completion. I will use his lessons throughout my learning career and beyond.

 Most students at Hunter are too young to remember when 20 page papers (2-3) were required in HIGH SCHOOL for courses like Prof. Heatwole's. He is thorough, smart and his assignments are challenging and interesting -- I have produced some of my best work in his class and I am forever grateful for having taken his courses.
