 I thought I was stupid in math. All my life I was mocked and berated and called names (by adults mind you) until I was in college and finally encountered a kind and patient algebra instructor who was able to explain it in a way that I was able to understand. I think he drove the people who caught on easily crazy bc he was slow and methodical, but to me and others he literally saved us from forever thinking we were stupid in math. I made A’s and B’s in his classes. Thank you, Al Wilson.
